Militaria - Sell/Trade

I am a collector, researcher and military enthusiast, not a dealer. The following items are for sale by myself, Colin Stevens, and by some of my friends. We are private collectors, and every once in a while have some items to sell either because they are duplicates, no longer of interest, or as is more often the case, we want to acquire something else for the collection. I am usually willing to trade for items I would like (see my Militaria Wanted page). A few non-military items are also listed for sale.

On eBay I use the identity "seaforth_highlander " and so far I have a PERFECT RECORD (782 as of 2010-08-14.)  If you are interested in any of these items, please send an e-mail to seaforth72 (at) gmail.com Please use a descriptive subject line or it will be treated as spam.

Prices are in CANADIAN DOLLARS. Postage is extra. There is no handlking fee and I only charge for packaging at the actual cost and then only if I have to spend money for it. Payment may be made in converted amount in PAPER US dollars, GBP or Euros. I accept PayPal using the identity seaforth72 (at) gmail.com  To calculate the conversion of currencies try http://www.x-rates.com/calculator.html

Items will be deleted from the list after they are sold.

All relevant laws must be complied with e.g. regarding firearms.

Here is a link to my page listing militaria for sale by dealers. Some is original, and some is replica for living history enthusiasts and re-enactors. http://bcoy1cpb.pacdat.net/sources.htm

Please have a look at my Militaria Mysteries page. I can't identify some items! Help!

UNIFORM ITEMS

STOCK # 4 1941 British leather jerkin. Size No. 2 Height 5'7" to 5' 10" Chest 37" to 43". Kessle(?) Bros. (M/c) Ltd. Manchester, [England] Leather is typical British thin and weak leather. A couple of tears on one side. Fine for parades or mannequin displays. As worn by Commando soldiers and virtually all army troops. Getting hard to find as most were worn out from use during and after the war. Three tears on right side - shown in photos.

Ex-movie rentals (S&M Costumers, Vancouver, BC).

This one for sale is identical to the one my father wore with No. 4 Commando in 1943 and is in much better condition but I am keeping my Dad's one for sentimental reasons.

$175

STOCK # 5 Flight Jacket, US Air Force (USAF) MA-1

Dark blue with bright orange inner (i.e. for survival situations) "Jacket Flyer's Man Intermediate, MA-1"  MIL-J-827901(USAF) Stock Number: 0615-00-280-528  Contract No. AF/615-011-964  Pentagon Trading Corp. Auberville, MT, USA Size X-Large Overall VG except a small burn hole on right front  just below pocket flap. Ex-movie rentals (S&M Costumers, Vancouver, BC).  $45

STOCK # 2 Replica Royal Air Force (RAF) & Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) Irving leather shearling WWII Flying Jacket. Similar to what was worn in World War II by fighter pilots and bomber crews.

Large size. Leather overall solid but exterior surface is starting to split on side.  Two repair patches. These actually give it the patina of the used look for a pilot. Ex-movie rentals (S&M Costumers, Vancouver, BC).

I have a similar one that I wear in the winter and when driving my jeep. Lovely and warm. A British collector recommended that these jackets should not be worn in the rain as the leather cracks quickly. New replicas available at Duxford in England sell for about $1,000 Canadian & tax, duty & shipping.

$250
