The first 15 or so Canadian contract (last one) PENGUINS were converted from Canadian Armoured Snowmobiles for Exercise Muskox. My father-in-law, Captain Bob Inglis, commanded Muskox Penguin # 8. I have lots of photos of this and other Penguins on Ex. Eskimo and Ex. Muskox.

One the the dozen Exercise Musk Ox Penguins as owned by Francois Payeur of Quebec circa 1986 (?). This one MAY be #8 which was Captain Bob Inglis' vehicle. It was going to go to the Bombardier Museum. Did it? WHERE IS IT NOW?

US M7 SNOWMOBILE

This was designed for Air Force rescue work.  At least one was used in Northern Canada, and probably more.
