Where is Pitt Meadows located?

Pitt Meadows is located in the Greater Vancouver Regional District in the Lower mainland of British Columbia. It is between the Fraser River and the Coast Mountains. It is about 1 hour East of Vancouver, but not beyond Hope (that town, much further up the Fraser Valley, is the victim of many jokes about its name).  Pitt Meadows is a nice little community of about 10,000 people.  Click on the Lower Mainland Map.

I live in the area shown by this photo. Notice the beautiful mountains and lake. I live in the south part of what the photographer calls the 'City Centre' (Zone C2 on their map).
