MTP 46 Part 4A: 

PAINTING OF MECHANICAL TRANSPORT

1941

Military Training Pamphlet was published in 1941 by the British Army. In January 1942, His Majesty's Stationery Officer arranged to print 15,000 copies in April 1942 for Canadian use.

It does NOT cover the Mickey Mouse Ear (MME) camouflage pattern BUT the principles are similar. The MME simply has rounded edges that look like the ears of Mickey Mouse.

Colin Stevens' 1944 Willys MB jeep painted in Mickey Mouse Ear Camouflage. I have since repainted the markings using the light blue paint and added the centre of gravity stripe on the left side.
